My year long goal has just begun!

I have always struggled with my weight since Junior High School.  I can't say that I am good at eating nutritious. I try to, but trust me when I say that I love food and I cannot deny the temptations.  Each year I try to lose a significant amount of weight, but in the end I gain it back and if not more.  I am trying a new phase where I am devoted to exercising each night and having breaks every so often.  On odd days I will be Interval training and toning where on even days I will do as much cardio as possible.  My dream was that once I was done having children I would get fit.  With each child I was able to go back down in weight and now that I am no longer a spring chicken, I am struggling even more. 

So what is the goal?  In one year I hope to be fit in a sense that I feel better, have more energy, am happy in the clothes I am in, and be satisfied rather than disappointed. I chose a year because short periods of time does not work. I have done Atkin, lost a lot of weight, only to be disappointed that I gained it all back.  After this last and final pregnancy, I am weighing in at the most....190 lbs.  Never been there before, unless I was at the third trimester of a pregnancy.  So I am hoping that I attain my goals, build my self-esteem and see results within the year.  Wish me luck because this mom is going to need it.

After one month!  Small babysteps...I must remember that...oh, I should also clean my house.
